What is special in Cappadocia?
Cappadocia is considered to be one of the most special Turkish attractions due to its topographic features and impressive views. The geology of this region is so unique that no similar locality exist on our planet. More than 50 million years ago through the volcanic eruptions and outpouring of lava the mountainous terrain was covered with tuffs and other geological formations. What is the best way to get to Cappadocia?
Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR) is located in nearly one hour of driving by car to the center of Cappadocia region. The fastest way to get there will be to have a flight to this airport and rent a car in Kayseri as it will be very comfortable for moving around Cappadocia locality.
How many days is enough for Cappadocia?
At least two, better three full days are needed for visiting this place. That time should be enough to have a possibility to postpone the balloon flight if it’s needed because of the weather, to enjoy sunrises both from the sky and a terrace, spend couple of sunsets with amazing valley views and try many of offered in Cappadocia touristic entertainments.
